Account Disabled
When an ad platform permanently or temporarily shuts down an advertiser's account due to repeated or severe policy violations.
What Account Disabled means
Account disabling is the most severe enforcement action a platform can take against an advertiser. It typically occurs after multiple policy violations, a single egregious violation (e.g., promoting illegal products), or suspicious activity patterns. When an account is disabled, all ads stop running, and the advertiser loses access to campaign data and audiences. Most platforms offer an appeal process, but success rates vary. Prevention through compliance monitoring is far more effective than attempting to recover a disabled account. Some platforms may also disable associated accounts (those sharing payment methods, admins, or IP addresses).
