Google has updated the Brazil and Slovenia entries in the country table of its Gambling Ads policy, according to a change detected on October 2, 2026 by AuditSocials on the platform's official policy page. AuditSocials rated the change high severity.

In Slovenia, the allowed online gambling products were expanded from lotteries only to lotteries, sports betting and online casino games. Under the revised entry, operators must hold a valid concession from the Government of Slovenia and be registered with the Slovenian Ministry of Finance.

In Brazil, fixed-quota betting is no longer listed among the allowed products. Lotteries, horse racing and daily fantasy sports remain listed. The operator requirement now reads "licensed or authorized by the relevant Brazilian authorities."

The Brazil entry also no longer includes a separate requirement for a link to an app's App Store or Play Store listing on the operator's officially registered domain.

The changes apply to paid ads and affect gambling operators advertising in Brazil and Slovenia. The policy page does not list an effective date.
