Moderation decisions that X reported under the category "Other terms & conditions violations" rose to a 7-day average of 2,398, up +203.0% from a 30-day baseline of 793, according to reports in the EU DSA Transparency Database.
The movement was flagged by AuditSocials' anomaly detector, which compares the 7-day calendar average with the 30-day baseline for each moderation category. The detector rated the change as high severity. No specific country was associated with the movement.
X reported a total of 29,063 moderation decisions to the database on October 16, 2026, the date of the reports covered.
The figures are counts of decisions that platforms report. A rise can reflect changes in reporting, not only changes in enforcement, and the data do not indicate a cause for the movement.
